On her debut, the talented singer/songwriter/pianist Kim Fox has gathered several gifted musicians to play with her, including John Strohm (Blake Babies, Lemonheads, Antenna, etc.) and Kenny Arnoff, who plays with, among others, John Cougar Mellencamp. The first single from this album is “I Wanna Be A Witch,” an interesting piece which ignores the coventional pop song structure, yet still manages to get you with a good piano/vocal hook. Other catchy songs include “Could Have Been A Saint” and the organ-driven “Bleed A Little, Allison.” Kim Fox was part of the Lillith Fair Festival this summer and will be appearing at Mother Fool’s Coffee House in Madison on February 13th.
