Nothing to get too excited about here… The best of the lot is the self-titled contribution from Atari Teenage Riot, the German products of the Beastie Boys’ Grand Royal label. Amazingly, “Riot” isn’t a bad tune even though it sounds like a Surge commercial and smells like teen spirit. And I don’t know who the chick doing sexy voice-overs on it is, but she almost woke my dormant hormones from their long winter’s nap. The rest of this soundtrack is pretty damn mundane though; not even the presence of the usually reliable De La Soul does much good. Oh well. C'est la vie…
